Hailing from the village of Dhuddi in Faridkot district, Punjab (India), Rajinder Nagi—popularly known as Nagi Dhuddi Wala—is a multi-talented artist celebrated for his profound contributions as a lyricist, writer, and actor.
Rajinder holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Music (B.A. Music) and has also pursued Urdu literature under the program “Urdu Amroz”. His academic background reflects his deep-rooted connection with literature, rhythm, and melody.
As a Lyricist
With a repertoire of over 120 recorded songs, Nagi has left a remarkable imprint in the Punjabi music industry. His songs are known for their emotional depth, cultural touch, and lyrical richness.
As a Writer
Rajinder Nagi has also made his mark in Punjabi literature. He has contributed mini-stories and lyrical restorations to reputed Punjabi newspapers like “Nawa Zamana.”

ਰਾਜਿੰਦਰ ਨਾਗੀ ਨੇ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਾਹਿਤ ਵਿੱਚ ਵੀ ਆਪਣੀ ਵਿਸ਼ੇਸ਼ ਪਛਾਣ ਬਣਾਈ ਹੈ। ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਨੇ ਮਿੰਨੀ ਕਹਾਣੀਆਂ ਅਤੇ ਗੀਤਾਤਮਕ ਪੁਨਰਰਚਨਾਵਾਂ ਰਾਹੀਂ ਆਪਣੇ ਲਿਖਾਰੀ ਹੁਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਣਯੋਗ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਅਖਬਾਰਾਂ ਜਿਵੇਂ ਕਿ “ਨਵਾਂ ਜ਼ਮਾਨਾ” ਵਿੱਚ ਪ੍ਰਸਤੁਤ ਕੀਤਾ ਹੈ।
